Dice2Prejudice
Dice 2 prejudice is a youth exchange, bringing together 30 participants, from 6 countries, youngsters eager to take a stance against racism and intolerance, leading then to prejudice and stereotypes, through raising awareness on the importance of a tolerant Europe, using the social activism methods as tool. For 8 days, the youngsters using different methods and tools – such as theatre, posting messages, social media tools, flash mobs, organizing the Dice 2 prejudice Event for the local community, will act as responsible active citizens, promoting the importance of tolerance, intercultural learning and mutual support. More than this, perfectly integrating the 2010’s and 2011’s priorities and promoting the social rights of the discriminated group and being an activity that started, is being developed and will continue with the support of volunteers, the 30 young volunteers will also promote volunteering in terms of social innovation and as a support mechanism for the discriminated and stigmatized groups. Dice 2 Prejudice Event – Throwing the Dice 2 Prejudice will be the activity that will valorize the excellent outcomes of the youngsters’ volunteers work in intercultural teams, promoting a tolerant society and promoting the active youth participation in the future development of a tolerant Europe.
